On this blog, I will be posting recipes that I have loved cooking for my family and friends. I have had many wonderful and pleasure filled hours cooking and serving things that have been made in my kitchen. It is to that memory that I dedicate this blog.

MY COMPUTER IS CRASHING!!!
I AM SO SORRY, MY COMPUTER IS TRYING TO CRASH SO I AM SURE THAT IT WILL.TAKE CARE AND GOD BLESS UNTIL WE MEET AGIN IN GRANDMAS KITCHEN. CONNIE
I see that you live in Texas...THAT'S why you don't need a tea cozy. When you come in for a walk, and your scarf is frozen solid in the front from condensation...then you need a tea cozy...LOL. I can see from your recipes that you are Southern cook. Funny, nobody up here eats corn bread. I don't even like corn bread, I think it's something that you have to grow up with. But your other recipes look scrumptious!!
Dear Des, Yes, I am a true Texas and I love it. The temperture has never gotten that cold here. I live on the Gulf Coast of Texas near the Gulf Of Mexico so it is always rather pleasant here.
I don't know anyone here in our state that doesn't like cornbread. Yes, I am a Southern cook. I just make things that my family likes to eat. We like all kinds of food though. I hope you find somethings on here that you do like.
The tea cozy was very pretty. I do like hot tea though. connie
I am a Child of the King, wife of a carpenter, mother of five and grandmother of 20, great grandmother of seven and one due in December of this year. I love the Lord . My family has been my life and the Lord has given me anything worthwhile that I have.
I have loved to cook and be in the kitchen since I was a little girl watching my mama cooking. I have had many hours of pleasure preparing meals for my family and friends over the years. This place is called Grandma's Kitchen in memory of all those good times. Taster's always welcome!!
