BANANA BREAD

GRANDMA'S KITCHEN, TASTERS WELCOME

THIS RECIPE IS FOR ALL OF US WHO CAN'T EAT TOO MUCH SUGAR OR ARE TRYING TO LOSE WEIGHT. I HAVEN'T TRIED THIS YET BUT I INTEND TO THIS WEEK. I GOT THIS FROM PAM OF GLORIFY GOD IN YOUR BODY'S BLOG. THANK YOU, PAM.

WHOLE WHEAT SUGAR-FREE BANANA BREAD

2 cups wheat flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp cinnamon
4 medium bananas
1 egg
1/3 cup oil
1/2 cup unsweetened orange juice
1/2 cup raisins (optional)
1/2 cup walnuts (optional)

1) Preheat oven to 350% and grease one loaf pan.

2)Combine dry ingredients in a large bowl.

3)In a medium bowl, mash bananas with the egg, oil, and orange juice. A potato masher works well for this, or you can use a blender or food processor if you prefer.

4)Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and stir until combined.

5)Pour into greased pan and bake for 40-50 minutes, or until a knife inserted in the center comes out dry.

6)cool on wire rack---(or burn your mouth on a slice straight from the oven:)

Hope you enjoy this and think of Pam as you try it. You can find her at http://glorifygodinyourbody.blogspot.com/

connie, just click on the Songs from my journey icon on your other blog...scroll down in the post, below the icon/picture is a code, right click to highlight and click on copy. Go to this blog, to add a gadget, click on html/javascript, when the window pops up, click and paste. That should do it!
